ON-SITE

Inspired by THE SHOP FRONTs temporality this exhibition is all about location, site specificity and flux. Thinking about exhibition making and environments and bodies in transition.

THE SHOP FRONT 286 is a non-conventional pop-up gallery space, utilising window vignettes making art more accessible to passers-by and the community it’s in (post private view the show will be viewed through the shop window). The future plans for THE SHOP FRONT 286 is for it to be a multi-site venue, taking over new spaces where ever the sign appears.

THE SHOP FRONT 286 gives a platform to rising young creatives in London to showcase their work to the public.
